If you don't like the cards you are dealt, change how you play the game.

I love this saying. Partly because I come from a family that always played poker. Cards have always been a part of my life in many forms lol. Poker or Tarot I've always had cards in my hand.

Many may not realize that is the whole purpose of getting a Tarot reading. It is a glimpse into the future of our lives if we stay on the path we are on. It also shows us the things that we can change to lead us to a better life. The things we are doing that are holding us back from our best life. It is a reminder that nothing is written in stone. That no matter what life throws at us we are in control of how we react. It is our reaction to what we are dealt that holds the final outcome.

The major arcana cards are the major or spiritual events in our life. I personally do not see us controlling these events. These are happenings that are meant to be. Our predestined trials and travails. Some are good some are bad. But they are meant to be part of our life. Meant to help form us. I believe they are a piece of our karmic line.

The minor arcana represents our daily lives and behaviors. They are also a reflection of how we react to the major arcana events. The minor arcana can give a deeper meaning the majors we receive. Example= you receive the death card. Most minds go to a bad spot when they see that card pop up. In reality the cards main meaning is change and new beginning. If you get the death card and its pared with ace of cups or 2 of cups that could be a good change in your love life. If it is pared with ace of pentacles or 9 of pentacles it could mean o good change in finances or career.

But if that death card is paired with 5 of cups that holds meaning of things changing for the worst. Or pared with 5 or 6 of pentacles that could show money problems getting worse or trouble with job. That is where changing how you play the game comes in.

If the cards tell you that your relationship or job is on the verge of taking a bad turn you have the ability to make changes. Change your behaviors. Fix what you are doing wrong. Or start saving that extra dime , look for new job or whatever it takes to avoid losing the game.

Remember nothing is written in stone. The cards are here to guide you and help you get on the right path. Once the cards are lain out its up to you how to play the game.
