When becoming a Tarot reader, I thought all I had to do was memorize the key words. Boy was i wrong lol. Its true that the first steps in Tarot is memorizing the key words. There is also the numbers of the cards, the pictures on the card, the colors within the pictures and the element of the card. Wait does it stop there? Nope. Next step understanding the astrology of each card. The numerology of each card. The sacred geometry of each card. Whew. After years of study and practicing do I finally have it all figured it now? Nope. Now we get to the hard part. The core of being a reader. A reader of any kind. Whether it is Tarot, Psychic or Medium and everything all around it. The real essence of being a reader is Intuition.
Intuition. Its the biggest and most complicated part of this work. Every day we must exercise our intuition. Every day we must find new ways to open it. Literally treat it like a growing baby. Always finding new ways to feed it cuddle it to help it grow.
The hardest part is knowing when and how to trust your intuition. Telling the difference between an assumption and a true gut feeling. There is a difference in what we think and what we know. What we feel and what we are guessing. Learning to know the difference in all these is possible. It takes work. Self-study. Meditation.
When I first started this journey, I read every book I could get my hands on. Watched every YouTube video available. Did Psychic exercise all day. i practiced. I meditated for long periods of time. I journaled when I was right and when I was wrong. I still do these same tasks, but I have slowed down a little.
Our intuition is something we must work on daily. There are always new ways to learn. New ways to improve.
I was had a teacher say that when a Psychic says they were born with their gift then do not trust them. We are all born with intuition, but we have to open it ourselves. A surgeon may be born smart with the desire to heal others but if he skipped medical school, we wouldn't trust him to cut us open.
Sometimes we have to decide to trust the cards or our intuition. Sometimes they go against each other. In my experience always follow your gut. The cards are there as a guide. As a way to guide our intuition. An opener.
So when your intuition is screaming something different then the cards don't panic. Ask your guides to help you understand. Ask them to help guide your words so that you are giving the advice that needs to be heard. Trust your gut
Look at the whole spread you have laid and see where it resonates with what your gut is saying. Dont get flustered. Take a breath. Take your time.
You can also remind the one you are reading for that nothing is written in stone. Explain to that person what the cards say then explain where your intuition is taking you.
Stay tunes for intuition exercises coming soon.
Be the light spread the love.
