Reading from the Book..is that Tarot reading or a study session?

There are many discussions Ive been seeing regarding the beliefs on a Tarot reader using a guide book while giving a Tarot reading. There are many opinions on this topic. Im not here to disagree with anyone elses opinion but I am here to share mine.

Each Tarot card has its own meaning, numerology ,planet, elements, zodiac, symbolism and insight. Getting to know all of these aspects is a huge part of being a Tarot reader. Taking the time to get to know each card in every detail is one of the hardest steps and the most rewarding steps of becoming a true Tarot reader. It takes long hours of study and classes and practice to learn all of these details. When I see someone reading from the book it shows me they do not have the passion for Tarot that it takes in order to dedicate yourself to those long hours of study.

Even though its very important to learn and get to know each card, readings are most effective when the reader relies on their intuition and personal connection with the cards. Reading directly from a book can hinder the flow of intuitive insights and personal interpretation. It limits the readers ability to tap into their own intuitive guidance and provide a unique reading tailored to the clients specific situation.

Each reader has their own unique style and interpretation of the cards. By relying on a book, the reader may unintentionally adopt someone elses view which makes the reading not as authentic. Tarot readings are more meaningful when the reader brings their own insight and wisdom to the table.

Reading from a book can disrupt the natural flow and fluidity of a Tarot reading. It may cause interruptions as the reader flips through pages, searches for specific meanings, or tries to match the cards to predefined interpretations. This can disrupt the energy and momentum of the reading, making less dynamic and engaging for both the reader and the client.

Another important aspect of being a Tarot reader is learning to trust your intuition. Learning new ways to increase your intuition. Combining your intuition with the knowledge you have learned about the cards is how to give the best Tarot reading. You must combine the two. Knowledge and intuition.

Being a reader isnt as easy as we think in the beginning. All the studying and practicing can seem overwhelming at times. It might seem easier to just read from the book. But the feeling we get knowing we have helped someone out of their rut, brightened their day, helped them to find the light at the end of a tunnel, makes it all worth it. People not only come to us looking for guidance they also give us their money expecting we know what we are doing. Lets give them the best we have. knowledge and intuition

love and light to you all
