October 30th is very popular night in Michigan. It is The Devils night. A night of pranks and mischief that dates back to the 1910s in Detroit. A night when people would start fires and destroy properties. until I was an adult, I thought the devil's night was a Amercian thing. Had no clue it was a Michigan thing. Thankfully has time went on the fires and destruction had turned into throwing eggs and toilet papering people's trees.

I also assumed it was devils' night because i knew that was the night the veil was the thinnest. I thought it meant that evil spirits were lurking. because of the thin veil. I had no idea it was just about people in human form were starting trouble and being mischievous. No matter the real reason for this name October 30th will always be to me when the spirits are free.

So this Devils night i have chosen to fill you in on the true meaning of the Devil tarot card.
