The veil is thinning..

October. I've always loved October. It was most exciting month of the year for me as a child. First there was my birthday!! Yay! Then of course came Halloween!! nothing better than a month filled with presents, cake, costumes and all the free candy I could eat! {still love that candy} As I got older it became even more interesting. Picking out my own costumes and the exciting thrill of the phrase devils night and of course the gorgeous falling leaves are everywhere in Michigan.

But it wasnt until I was much older that i learned the true beauty of the month of October.

There are many meanings of October and Fall and what they stand for. Depending on culture and religion. But the best known spiritual meaning of October is the thinning of the veil. A time when the veil between heaven and earth is lifted. All through the month the veil gets thinner and thinner until the 30th otherwise known as devils night the veil is lifted.

On this night it is said that the spirits are allowed to freely walk the earth. I promise its not as scary as it sounds. In simple terms this is a night when we can easily make contact with those we have lost, our spirit guides or any other spirit you reach out to. Or if you feel you are not ready to reach out you can also be comforted just knowing that they are right there with you.

So if you have been wanting to make contact with spirit or work on your mediumship skills October is the month.

If you are trying to make contact remember to ask your spirit for a sign. Write a note saying what sign youd like too receive. Meditate. Leave a note asking spirit a question and when u wake up write down the first thought you have. do this for a few days and you will start to see the message. Burn a candle that has a smell your loved one enjoyed. play theri favorite song. Cook their favorite meal. All of these are a way to draw the spirit in.

Then on the 31st tell your spirit to follow the light. They dont need to stay with you. Its their time to fly.

Releasing the spirit is important. We are not trying to bind them here to us we only want a visit. This is their time to bask in the light.
